It all started with a nickname… and a serious love for poutine.
Back in 2019, we opened a tiny food trailer called Coco Resto Eau, named after founder Mathieu Leclair’s dad, “Coco.” From day one, we served rich, cheesy poutine made fresh to order and people just couldn’t get enough.
The lines got longer. The cravings got stronger. A little dream was turning into something big.
Soon, the food truck wasn’t enough, so we opened a full-blown restaurant.
With 15+ mouthwatering poutine styles, our cozy little spot quickly became a local favorite.
Customers kept saying, “This is the best poutine ever!”
So, we turned their words into our name.
That’s how La Best Poutine Ever was born.
In 2023, rising costs forced us to shut our beloved restaurant. It was a tough call, but the love for our poutine gravy mix never stopped. People still craved that rich, signature flavor. So we made a bold move: we packed our top-selling poutine gravy mix in Canada into bags and brought it to stores. Same recipe. Same soul.
Now ready to enjoy anytime, anywhere. It wasn’t the end. It was a brand new beginning.
Today, La Best Poutine Ever is on shelves in 50+ stores across Canada, and we’re just getting started. From a tiny food trailer to a national brand, this journey has been powered by passion, people, and plenty of original poutine gravy mix.
